i just bought mixtrack and virtual dj as something to learn a little about mixing. everything works fine but when i back scratch (i guess thats what it would be called) the music will pause for a sec before it starts playing again. i dont know if there is a setting i can change so this doesnt happen or what. if i do it with the mouse the music doesnt pause for a second like it does with the controller. sorry if this doesnt make any sense.

ok first off, if you "BOUGHT" vdj then please register your product so you can get the latest updates and support.
secondly if you go into config > options and change the jogwheel type to cd and the fader to scratch then you will get a better restart responce.
however when you scratch you are supposed to scratch with one deck and play your backing track in another. if you are trying to scratch the track you are playing then no matter what settings you use the track will pause for a second.
download some scratch samples from the internet and load your track into deck A and your sample into deck B, then scratch on deck B.
