Hello I have recently purchased a DJ controller and have Virtual DJ Home Edition. I plan on upgrading to Pro version but in the mean time I am trying to play .vdj files I have downloaded from your samples forum and I cannot do it. I have tried dragging them to the deck, I have tried to "load" them into a sample slot using the samples bar and my pc browser (I see the files but when I double click them nothing happens and I cannot play them. I read somewhere that in order to play these vdj files in the sample tray I have to convert them but how do I do that? Please help, I just starting using your software and do not want to go elsewhere because I cannot play samples. I cannot play them no matter what I do. I have tried converting them into wave and MP3 by changing the tag and by using software but other softwares ive used dont recognize .vdj. Please someone help.

Hi babe. I'm not sure if you can import samples from the VDJ filles when using the LE or home edition... I've recently upgraded to the Pro licence and i can get them now whereas when i was using the LE version that came with my RMX i couldn't.
You could generate your own samples from the web and record them as MP3 files, i suppose...
Hope that helps some babes.

Sorry, VirtualDJ LE is free limited software and does not support loading and saving samples.
For this functionality and much, more, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
The samples do not need to be converted - .vdj can be loaded into VirtualDJ Pro.

To load new samples, please do the following:
(1) Download the appropriate samples from the samples download area http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/samples.html and save these in an appropriate folder on your hard disk, e.g: My Documents\VirtualDJ\Sampler
(2) In VirtualDJ, go to the Sampler section.
(3) Click on the bullet button to the top-right of the sample slot you wish to load a sample into. Choose Load from the pop-up menu.
(4) Browse to where you saved the samples (I.e: My Documents\VirtualDJ\Sampler) and choose the sample you wish to load.
