A few weeks ago I've run into a new problem with my audio. It happens on 7.0 and still on 7.0.2. When I open VDJ and mount a track it shows it mounting and everything but when I hit play nothing happens. No movement, no sound, music etc. I have discovered that if I try to put another track on the same deck it says a track is already playing, do you really want to replace it.
I use Hercules MK 4 and have the latest driver updates. The only other change is a week before this issue started I upgraded to the latest itunes and there was a minor OSX update as well.
My audio config is:
Inputs: Line Ins ( I have an external MP3/cd player online as a backup)
Outputs: Master Channel 1&2 / Headphones Channel 3&4 (This pertains to the Hercules)
Soundcard : DJConsoleMK4
I have a work a around but I shouldn't have to do this. That is, I change the Input from Line INs to something else, click apply and usually it still doesn't work but then go back to config and change Input back to Line Ins and it works........... about 70% of the time. If it doesn't I close virtual dj down, open it and try the same back and forth combo's till it begins playing and working normal (as it use to)
This is frustrating and scary cuz at gigs I can't afford to NOT have it work.
Help Please, any ideas would be great. Thanks.
PS I just noticed I have 2 virtual dj pro programs on the Mac, 7 which is about 34 mb and the newest 7.0.2 at about 13.2mb. Could this be an issue and/or do or should I have or need both programs on my Mac?

I'm not sure, but i believe VDJ is waiting for the Input from LineIn when you use this setting.
Give the following a try, maybe it is the tightway for you.
Replace Omni to MK4 ;-)

Go to System Preferences > Sound, and make sure the MK4 is NOT selected as your main output device.
VDJ doesn't seem to like it when this is the case.

I tried the simple fix of just changing my sound preferences, where MK4 was not the output default and it's working so far. I am off to a gig and will continue to see if I don't have to make any back and forth changes. Thanks for the great genius help!!

I bought a Numark Omni Controller and CUE ( updated it to 7.0.2 for MAC ).
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
I only use it with my headphones and a speaker.
How can CUE play smoothly on my Omni Controller ?
