Topic: New help setting up speakers

I just bought the hercules dj control steel , but my In-built laptop speakers are blown ( sound terrible with bass after listening to dubstep). I have a pair of external speakers in which you can attach headphones , and I have two sound cards , but It always bypasses my external ones , and uses my internal ones ( complex).

I would appreciate any tips of how to make stuff work , or just a new idea . I might upload a picture which can make things much clearer.
