I just purchased a Hercules MK4, and it included the DJC version of VirtualDJ.
When I open VDJ and try to get into the config menu, it says basically says I have to upgrade to Pro if I want to change settings. It also says I can activate a 20 day free trial of Pro.
So I activated the trial, but it still won't let me access the config menu. It gives me the same thing about upgrading, except now it says the 20 day free trial has been used.
I've tried restarting VDJ, I've tried restarting my computer. What's going on here?

First, as you've discovered, there is no config on the 'free' versions - I know it's confusing to have a button marked 'config' that doesn't actually configure anything (and I've even fed this back to Atomix) but that's the way they do it!
Second, the 20 day trial only works for 20 days if you don't have the full VDJ on your system.
I found this out when I bought my VMS4 and installed that version.
Basically, Atomix say that if you've got the full version then you don't need a trial.
