Hi everyone,
Just bought a Hercules RMX, which comes with VDJ 5.2.2. Have it hooked up only to my HP Windows 7 laptop via USB, and to a pair of headphones connected to the console (no other inputs or outputs). Have had this thing only a few days, but notice that it often freezes when attempting to cue up a new track, usually after just a few songs. The "yellow smiley" I read about doesn't appear....I usually have to manually kill the VDJ process to shut it down then restart it. Any ideas on what I should look for? The crash_report file contains only the following:
Freeze (date=1101082056, version=5.2.2 DJConsole, build=522, thread=Scan)
This file doesn't seem to have been updated with the couple of freezes I've had today. Apologies if this sounds like a FAQ.
