Gang -
I don't run AV on my gig rig, and been lucky so far. Occasionally running AV and etc from a boot CD and no bad stuff noted.
Now I have MSE on my home unit and so far seems system resource friendly. Unlike the offerings of Norton and other free ones from online.
Thoughts gang?
Maybe finally M$ has got something right besides Windows 7?
Oh, heads up... SP1 for Windows 7 in 2 weeks.

I've been using MSE on my 64 bit Win 7 laptop with VDJ7 with no problems at all...MSE just seems to sit there not taking up resources until I ask it to by performing a scan - which is normally done overnight when it's not required.

I have MSE on my gig pc, have had it since it came out.
I have not had a single problem with it with VDJ, even leave it running when doing gigs. Got rid of norton because of it as well.
