Hello! I was having an dissue with my Numark NS7 and my Macbook Pro 13". When I installed the new drivers from the Numark web site, my NS7 and Mac had sound issues. It sounded like if there were singing under water. I did the following step to solve this problem. Uninstall the NS7 drivers and download and install the old drivers for Mac that are located on the Numark web site. I restarted my laptop and the problem was fix. Please let me know if your problem get solves after doing this step.

Thanks so much for offering help with this. I had high hopes that this would solve the issue, yet after downloading the older drivers after a fresh uninstall of the new drivers I still ran into the same issue.

Since I'm new to Mac, I wonder if maybe there is more to uninstalling the driver than I think there is. I ran the uninstall tool, it said it was removed, then did a restart...is that it? Is it totally gone then? Should I remove VDJ and reinstall that as well?

How about settings? Any changes made to the performance tab?

PS. I'm assuming since yours is a 13" Mac, we have the same specs, right? 4GB Core 2 Duo and 10.6 OS?
If we do, and yours is running fine with 7.0.2., then there HAS to be something I'm doing wrong..

Make sure your Ns7 is On when you put your computer On. Go into Virtual Dj Sound Card Congiguration. Make sure is set up for NS7. Hit Apply and then go into mappers and rescan the hardware. Tell me is this solve your problem. Also make sure that your Ns7 Firmware if updated.

I am also a new mac user and have been looking at the NS7FX. Do you know what major differences there are with the NS7FX vs NS7? Is it worth the ugrade to the newer NS7FX or go with the NS7? I currently run two Denon s5000 CD players, x1500 mixer, and U46DJ external sound card.

Thanks!

I am having the same problems with my V7 on Mac Book Pro. A guy from NuMArk gave me some advice via email, and I will try it tomorrow and I will let you know. i have tried old Vdj versions, old sound drivers, the only thing for me that works is turning the motor off and then back on again in a song, and it stays good for that one song.
