Ok guys, looking at buying a new soundcard, so what are your opinions on what's available, based on the following potential setup:
Deck 1 outputting to channel 1
Deck 2 outputting to channel 2
Sampler outputting to channel 3
pre-listen outputting to channel 4
Now I'll be honest, I'm not sure if VDJ can output the sampler and pre-listen to seperate channels or not, but it would be what I'd like to do.
The outputs form the sound card will be fed into my DDM4000 with NDX800's doing the controlling.
I'm currently using a DJIO for deck 1 and deck 2 outputs. Just as an after thought, is it possible to setup the sampler and pre-listen outputs to the laptops soundcard and then feed this from the 3.5mm jack to channel 3 on the mixer...
UPDATE: So got the sampler outputting to channel 3 via the laptops built in soundcard, using advanced config...but alas it would appear that pre-listen is not available on it's own channel - A handy new feature methinks :)
So...what are your thoughts?
Simon

I have the NI Audio 8 DJ and the SL3, both cards have given me no trouble, although with this last update of the drivers for the NI card thereseems to be a spike in my cpu, other then that both kick ass and have plenty of inputs and outputs.
Vauge I know but they've been good to me, lol!

NI Audio 8 seems to be the best one out there. I know 2 people with them and they are apparently fantastic.
