Every time I click to open up VDJ LE i get this message:
virtualdj_le want to use the "ATPR" keychain
please enter the keychain password
First of all this is the only program that has ever given me this. I go to enter my password that I have to enter when I install programs and it says that it is a incorrect password.
If I press cancel then VDJ LE opens up but I still want to know why is it doing this and how to fix it.

Keychain is a feature of MacOS that is used to securely remember passwords for websites, or your own password that MacOS will normally prompt you for when installing software such as VirtualDJ.
You will need to enter the password that you set when enabling this utility, or change it via the Keychain Access application.
You can remove it by removing /users/YOURNAME/Library/Keychains/login.keychain

I entered the password that I use when installing all of my software and it says invalid password. But it is the only password that has ever been used on this computer and all of my other stuff installs fine when using that password.

ATPR key chain is a universal password to securely remember all other passwords automatically.
You may have set it to a different password to what you normally use.
Try changing or resetting it as detailed above (See http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,474245,474245 )

I checked on my keychain password and I am & have been using the correct password but I changed it anyways just because and I uninstalled VDJ LE & then reinstalled it and I am still getting the same error message & it is still saying my keychain password is incorrect. So I take it I am one of the ones who will never be able to use VDJ flawlessly. I'm sorry I just can't see myself paying for the Pro version when the LE version doesn't even work. This is beginning to be very frustrating & making me with that I bought my mixtrack when it was being shipped with Traktor.

This problem is nothing to do with VirtualDJ - Keychain is a feature of the Mac operating system and you will need to either enter the correct password for it or disable it altogether - If the above advice is not working, please search Google for: mac disable keychain
Once the keychain feature is disabled, you should have no problem installing VirtualDJ or any other software.
NOTE: If your user does not have admin rights, the install will prompt for you to enter the name and password of a user that does during installation.
You will also have the same problem installing any other software until you fix the problem with the keychain password.

Can u please read my posts properly because I am not having any problems installing any software. I have uninstalled some things and reinstall them previously when u said it is something with my keychain password. I even changed it. I have no problem installing/uninstalling anything but yet every time I go to open VDJ LE I get that error. So how is it that my "keychain" is causing that problem. When it works properly with everything else?

OH, and if I click cancel instead of entering the password it opens just fine.

Hating my experience with this software. I too had this problem, but by the time I figured out the problem, I had lost my 20 days due to file removal that was suggested in this forum. I just got it three days ago. The problem is not the password, but Firewall settings. If the request cannot get back to the vdj site, it keeps prompting for a password instead of informing that it was unable to verify your copy of Virtual DJ. The only people that would have a problem with this are ones that have their firewalls more secure that average. Thanks for nothing.
