A while back one of the users on here posted a video titled "a quick video of me messing around" or something close to that. In the video he was using the "cut" effect to emulate scratching. In the posts that followed, he explained how he did it.
i have tried using the search function and even went through the general discussion forum back 30 pages and still haven't found it.
Can someone point me in the direction of that thread or can the OP help me out?

The SEARCH does work -- search on 'quick video of me' < no quotes
