I have seen many posts regarding systems not detecting the controller (Numark Mixdeck), I have looked at many of them but am having a difficult time determining how to resolve the problem.
This is what is happening with me, every time on start up one of the following happens;
1) it doesn't detect the controller at all
2) it detects the controller, lights come on, etc. but the decks don't function but the mixer does
3) it detects the controller just fine
Here is my computer info:
Gateway Netbook
Windows XP with Service Pack 3
1.6 GHz Processor
1 GB of RAM
160 GB hard drive
Also, I am have the latest Numark drivers and the controller's firmware is also current, the unit is brand new (only two weeks old), I am using the trial version VirtualDJ Pro 7. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

When it starts up hit the "Eject" button twice on the controller and see if it detects it. I say twice because it swaps the decks and refreshes the controller. If your using a 4 deck skin then look at deck 1 (on the controller) and keep pressing till the # "1" shows up there again.

Thanks for the input, haven't been able to try it yet. Also, are you referring to the "eject" on the controller itself on in the program? and is this something that needs to be done on each deck? Thank you.

Yeah the "Eject" on the controller and only on 1 deck.
