Hehehe... previous quotes made me laugh..
Vinyl come back, like bell-bottom flairs?
The believers stand out in a crowd.
It's like saying graphic design on a computer is finished, the pencil is making a come back!!
Does anyone acually believe people are going to buy vinyl again, then encode and compress it to MP3 for their midiC's or are Apple working on a portable iTurntable?
I actually still play sets with vinyl DJ's (no time code- some even belt drives!) - and after the gig, I usually help them load the car.
I have even managed to convert a couple to controllers after seeing what they can do. (Including casually turning up after playing sets, to an after party, with my gear on my shoulder and knocking out an impromtu set, while they argue if and who is going to walk to the car to get the crates..)
I've never met a club owner who cares what the music is played on.... nor a crowd that only dances to vinyl.
Technology + Evolution = Revolution, and revolutions go in one direction, forward.
