Yes, using the Setting panel of the VMS4, you can route the sound of each channel to different midilog. But the skin of the LE version can not be changed, and the actions assigned on volume faders and EQs will probably confuse you, as are they have the 3,1,2,4 deck order.
Custom mapping of the device, using different skin, and other features as well, are only available to Pro Full version, which you may purchase at a significant discount.

OK thanks. Then we're back to my first impression.

The software is really useless, and is only a vehicle for Atomix to make me purchase the pro version, which is OK with me provided I knew it before I bought the controller - there was no indication of this whatsoever.

I knew, of course, that the functionality is limited; the comparison chart on this website clearly shows that, but the fact that the software is also made useless on purpose really annoys me, and for this reason I refuse to fork out an additional 150 dollars for the pro version.

Instead I'll stay on Traktor, which works OK but doesn't have VDJ's superior folder and search capabilities.

What's "useless" about it?

It works with the VMS4, yes?

You can list your songs, search them, load them, play them, mix them. What's the problem?

For something which cost you nothing, what more do you expect?

This is useless: "actions assigned on volume faders and EQs will probably confuse you, as are they have the 3,1,2,4 deck order."

If "actions assigned on volume faders and EQs will probably confuse you, as are they have the 3,1,2,4 deck order." is your definition of works, then the anwer is yes :-)

But seriously, do you really mean the software works if the EQs belonging to a channel fader is not above the fader? I don't think so :-)

See above.

It didn't cost me "nothing", it was part of a package I paid for.

I have had a chance to test the statements about EQs and Channel Faders earlier in this thread, and luckily they are not true.

So it actually works as I expect, and is not useless.

I have no problems whatsoever with a reduced feature set, that was to be expected. But as I read the statements, the software would had been useless, had the statements been true.
