Topic: Serial number usage on backup computer

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi,

I was wondering if I can install a fresh copy of VDJ 7 on my backup laptop with the same serial.

Surely VDJ won't make me spend another xxx amount on an additional copy...right?

you can install VDJ on to computers but only use one at a time so yes you can install it on your backup computer

The End User License Agreement (EULA) allows you to have the software installed on up to two computers at any one time, providing that they are both for your own personal use and will not be used simultaneously (E.g: Second installation as a backup or for practising at home is OK, allowing a friend or another DJ to use it is NOT allowed.)

You may also uninstall the software from an old computer and then install it onto a new computer.

NOTE: If you intend to sell, give away or dispose of an old computer, you must remove VirtualDJ from it first.

You can download the install file for the software again (If needed) from the Download Center: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

What about having the PC version loaded on 2 computers..... Now I'm getting a MAC.... Can I DL the MAC version without having to uninstall VDJ from my other laptops?

You may only have two installations at any one time for each serial number that you own (2nd installation for your own personal use only.)

If you currently have it on two PC's, and wish to install it on a Mac, then you would need to uninstall it from one PC and then install it on the Mac.

If one of the PC's is only used at home and not used for live gigs, you could always install VirtualDJ Home FREE instead: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html
