Just wondered whether it's possible to remove any of the effects on Sonique? and also whether it's possible to add any others?

Yup, just delete the corresponding SVP file mate, that simple. Adding new ones consists of copying it into the folder with the others.

Unfortunately not really. There are a few out there - older versions of GeForce included an SVP version for example. It really is a dead format though and has been for a long time.
I've written a MilkDrop plugin but I can't release it until I'm 100% happy with it as it occasionally hangs my gig system.

Go to my blog on my home page mate and you will find a download link including the g-force converted to a sonique svp just copy into the sonique folder.instructions in the blog...
