When are we going to see a midi clock feature added and working?

I have a roland gaia SH-01 which i would like vdj to send midi clock info to so that i can use my synths tempo related effects, phrase recorder and arpeggio

VDJ recognises my synth and iv seen some sort of a midi clock setting which just says "turn LED off/on" but this does not do anything that i can see

It does work but you have to have the newest version of VDJ 7.0.3, I know on the Mac side there's still a few kinks being worked out but the PC side is good to go.

Good Luck

As above MIDI clock is working under Windows as of v7.0.3. MIDI support is a Pro feature which means it will only work in the home version for 10 minutes. Registered users can download djcels tool to configure it.

Hopefully the Mac version will be sorted soon :)

Download the registry tool - it can set it up for you :)

Tried a few different drum machines set to receive external clock & omni mode (all channels) and they don't seem to be receiving clock from my midi out (Audio 8) Also, I did select my midi out (audio 8) on reg tool. Any additional stuff needed... def/dev file changes? I just did some troubleshooting and my drum machines are working correctly... They are receiving midi clock from other devices just fine. ???

btw... great timing VDJ team (i assumed midi clock was already available but weird coincedence) Hopefully i can set this up by Saturday. I'm doing a VDJ set, intergrated with circuit bent drum machines, a speak & spell and a Theremin but I need clock out working. Initially I was planning on having to sync via tempo knob on one of my machines... which is very difficult :o)

Again, what exactly do I have to do to send midi clock out? I've selected my midi out via reg tool, my external machines are set to slave (external clock) but something is still missing? Does the clock respond to each deck or is there a master clock? Master deck? I'm missing something for sure. Something else needed in my definition file?

Thanks again,
dJ dAb

I have messed with "MIDI_CLOCK" in my mapper but no results either. And no info in the wiki... I'm wondering if this is truly working yet (VDJ Midi Clock>Midi Out>Drum Machine)? Any help would really be appreciated.

Anyone? I'd even settle on an app to app example of midi clock out, for now. Thanks

thanks

is there any move to allow VDJ to be MIDI slave so one VDJ can set the tempo for another VDJ?
