Topic: How to fix POPPING ISSUES WITH HERCULES RMX

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi, I recently bought your hercules rmx console. I am experiencing crackle and pop sound whenever I try to use the gain, treble, bass, and medium knob. When i simply run virtual dj without the console the knobs work smoothly, but when using the console I experience pops that sometimes result in the music turning off completely. I have tried every solution offered on the internet. Things ranging from changing the latency to turning off unneccessary software. I have a hp dv7 with 4 gigs of ram and 2.40 ghz processor. I spent countless hours trying to find a solution, if I can't find one I would have no other choice but to sell it. Please help, thank you

Please upgrade your DJ Console drivers and firmware to the latest version.

A link to download this can be found on the following page:

http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Common_Device_Drivers.html

When installing, make sure that you follow the on-screen wizard instructions exactly. If any Windows 'found new hardware' prompts come up, please ignore them.

Please also ensure that you have the most recent version of VirtualDJ Console Edition installed. Register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the installation file from:

http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

Skipping, stuttering and other sound break-up/glitches are generally caused by performance issues with your computer and/or incorrect configuration in VirtualDJ.

Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4094/Common_performance_issues_and_solutions.html for a list of common causes of performance issues and their solutions.

If all else fails follow these instructions to get rid of audio problems

go to settings.
click on performances.
move the slider to 2nd from fastest.

enable safe moode,
disable overclock.
set latency to "auto" <- most important
