Specs -
Computer: HP running Windows Vista
Hardware: Hercules RMX
Speakers: M-Audio DX4

Hello Virtual DJ Community, first I would like to introduce myself, my name is Kennie Andrews, been a producer for 6 years & now finally starting to get into my DJing career :) To begin my DJing journey I have purchased the Hercules RMX a week ago & just received it today by mail, as my first DJ hardware controller I so far love it! So now my issue is revolving my Speakers, Computer & Hercules RMX.

Issue:
I am having issues with the sound coming out of the speakers, the RMX is currently connected to my home computer and now its not having any sound coming out of the speakers, even now when I disconnect the RMX there is still no sound, I figured out that the RMX replaced my original Soundcard (Windows Vista Default) for the RMX sound card It comes with. I like the fact that its updated now but now no sound comes out?

My Question:
How can I connect my speakers to the Hercules RMX which is connected to my computer + having sound coming out by using the RMX sound card?
Does it work that way? or do I have to switch back to my old Sound card to listen to music normally? I know it's a really confusing noob question but I'm having a tough time figuring this out, I've read a lot of topics here relating to the Hercules RMX before posting mine, but none helped me out really. :/

For more details my M-Audio speakers already comes with a RCA cable, one red & white (for left & right) and the end wire connected to my computer. I don't know much about RCA cables or Sound cards either (even though I'm a producer lol) so I hope this helps, I am new to DJing and would love to make this my hobby for a life time, thank you for any information & help given, I will check up on this topic as much as I can till issue is resolved! Hopefully soon. :)

-Thank you for your time & patience.

Make sure that you have plugged a pair of powered stereo speakers into the master outputs on the back of the console and your headphones into the headphone socket of the console.

Alternatively, connect a suitable cable (2x RCA to 3.5" headphone jack) from the master output of the console to the line input of your computer. The sound will then come out through the computer's speakers (If not, go to your sound card's mixer/control panel and ensure that the line input is not muted and the volume is set to an appropriate level.)

NOTE: VirtualDJ Console Edition is free limited software and does not support outputting sound directly through your computer's own built-in sound card with headphone pre-listening. It is designed to work with the sound card in the console only. For more flexible sound configuration options and much, much more, you will need to upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Pro at a significant discount: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
