I have searched a lot of threads but most of the the topics related to this are from 2008. I am using a macbook with the latest version of itunes (10.2.1) and the latest version of virtual DJ (6.2.1). I changed the comment section for all of my tracks in itunes yet when i open virtual dj and reload the itunes library many of them aren't changed. then when i select all and right click and select reload tag none of the comments update. the ones with blank comments seem to be ok but if there was a comment at one point that i ended up changing i still can only see the old comment. this is very very very annoying. i can do it manually because the new comment is there when i click on the individual tracks. i am just not sure how to get them all to load automatically. does this make any sense? can anyone offer any advice? thanks.

VirtualDJ v6.2.1 is NOT the latest version of the software. We are now on v7.0.3 - Please register your serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html or the latest Home FREE from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html
Comments will only read if they are stored in the ID3 tag of the file. If VirtualDJ has already seen the file before, you will need to erase the existing comment and then reload the comments (High-light two or more files, right-click and then choose these options from the Batch menu.) Or right-click on a single file and choose File Infos - You can load the comment from the tag using the [^] button.

thanks - i was just searching for what i do when i can't find my serial number. i have had the software less than a week and already its missing. i know i know. also can i download the latest version as a trial or do i have to buy the latest version immediately?

actually i just found it but my puppy chewed through most of the serial number. do i have any alternatives to upgrade without paying the full cost for pro?
