Has anyone had problems with this? I was playing an mp4 from my external hard drive of "Let the music play" by Shannon and dropped a "shadow dancers" video onto the video window in VDJ to overlay it. It worked ok the music kept playing and the video changed to shadow dancers. But then I noticed that the mp4 file of "Let the music play" was no longer anywhere in the search database - it disappeard from all virtual folders and all real folders, it is totally hidden from Virtual DJ. I tried the "check" and "fix" functions for the hard drive but it didnt help. I tried using a "insearchdb=0" folder to show hidden files but they didn't show.
To get the song back I had to go into My Computer and rename the actual file on my hard drive, then it was able to see it again. This incident happened twice with two different songs.

Instead of overlaying the video. Why don't you try using the clip bank instead. You can use the feature to play clipbank when using mp3's
