Hi, I got the following setup:
- Numark X9 mixer
- Two Stanton T120s
- Hercules DJ console RMX
What I want to do is using the Hercules DJ console RMX as a soundcard to record a set of non time coded vinyl records.
Any idea how to accomplish that using the Numark X9 mixer and how to set it up.
I've tried to put the master output of the Numark X9 mixer in the RMX but I get no sound.
Thanks in Advance.

It all depends how exactly you are trying to record your mix.
If the Rmx is already being used by VDJ as a soundcard for output, then it will not be possible for another software to use it as souncard for input.
Can you be a little more precise about how your were trying to do things ?

Don't want to use the Hercules for output only for recording my set played from the decks to the numark into the hercules on the laptop.

Then your recording software should be able to record the input of the Rmx, given that it is installed and configured correctly (LINE IN selected for Input 1/2 in the control panel).
What recording software do you use ? Does it support ASIO ?
As for connections, you could use the RECORD output of the mixer, which is specifically made for such purpose (you may have to configure something on the mixer), and still have speakers connected to the Main output .
