In short:
Vitrite is a small Windows utility that allows you to manually adjust the level of transparency for almost any visible window. It does this by utilizing a capability present in Windows for variable window transparency.
When executed, Vitrite minimizes to the system tray in the lower right corner of the screen. If you wish to make a window transparent, you simply bring the window into focus (i.e. click on it) and press Ctrl Shift [any number on the top row on the keyboard]. There are 9 different levels of transparency: 1=10% opaque, 9=90% opaque, and everything in between.
Vitrite also has the ability to toggle a window's "always on top" flag. Just press Ctrl Shift + (that's the plus sign) and it will make the active window float on top of the other windows. Press it again to reverse this behavior.

Let's start:
Start VDJ and enable it's TV output to extended monitor. Play some music video, or clipbank movie, or Sonique, or Flash movie so it's shown on ext. monitor. Start Winamp and go to File > Play URL > linein:// and start Milkdrop visualizations in VJ Mode (in it's own window). Start Vitrite and click on Milkdrop's window to select it, then do CTRL SHIFT + to make this window above everything. Then do CTRL SHIFT 5 to make this window half transparent and dragg it to the right side of your desktop, so it shows on ext. monitor. Maximize the Milkdrop window to make it fullscreen, but still transparent, so VDJ video output is still visible on ext. monitor. Those mixed visuals could be really amazing. If anyone knows how to play AVS visualizations in it's own window, please do tell. I'm clueless about that.
