I just downloaded virtual dj le v7.0.4 and I'm having a bit of trouble installing it . Every time I try to open the file it tells me to contact the application vendor to verify that is valid windows installer.

Your Windows installer needs updated. There is a link to the Mictosoft hotfix in this thread:
