hi all
sorry if this has been asked before im wanting to get timecodes (serato vinyls) to work with an external mixer through my pc onboard soundcard is this possible? if not can any 1 recommend any cheapish soundcards that i can use i used to have a hercules rmx but sold it i was told i maybe able to the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 if so how would i go about this please?

that won't work, to mix with vinyl you need 2 stereo inputs and 2 stereo outputs if you want to use an external analog mixer, the cheapest option is the maya 44, but you would have to get something to ground the turntables on. Other options are torq connective, hercules deejay trim (comes with VDJ LE, NI audio 4, 6, 8, 10, serato 1-3

thanks for the reply would i not be able to ground the turntables to the external mixer as normal? im starting to wish i had kept my rmx now and used that as a soundcard
