If they are close in price, why not buy RMX? It seems much better built...

Personally, I prefer the large jogs and the clicky button feel of the Numark. RMX is definitely built better, though.

Bro, I can tell you I've had mine for about 1 year and a half and it's great, perfectly built and works really good. The only thing I do not like is the jog wheels... They are not good for scratching cuz are not touch sensitive... I haven't had any problems with it considering that I use it almost everyday at home, parties and clubs. So if you wanna do scratching don't buy it, go for the mixtrack pro. It should be good too.
Something else... If you are planning to start with it and have something better in the future, just wait and get some more money. Don't let happen what happened to me. Now I want a really good stuff. But I do not regret that purchase. It's just that I need something better.
And forget about "oh you have to start with something small and lil basic".... No!!! You buy whatever you want. And with the bunch of controllers we have these days you should get something newer.

RMX is a Beast for mixing, but if you plan on Scratching, then step up to the 4MX or if the budget is not there yet, go with the mixtrack pro only if you're scratching. You can scratch on the RMX, but that will be some serious practice, trust me on that one.
