Providing that your backup computer is Intel based with MacOS 10.5 or later installed then you should not have any problems. You have 10.5.8, so your O/S is OK.
MacOS Tiger is an obsolete operating system and is no-longer supported by VirtualDJ or Apple.
PPC (PowerPC) processor is also no-longer supported by VirtualDJ.
Your computer needs to meet and preferably exceed the recommended hardware specification at the bottom of the following page: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/index.html
