I guess you'll be listening to Hot 97 and power 105 for the next few days, lol! Most kids in the BX listen to those stations the most, so keep the usher, drake, weezy, Rihanna, Chris Brown, diddy, 50 cent, jay z, rick ross, jadakiss, ludacris, Beyonce, etc close by. One thing about kids is once one is dancing, they're all dancing. Their not as picky as adults about music, but they know what they like. Depending on what part of the BX you in, playing Justin Bieber might have you running for the nearest exit, so if not requested, don't play that one.
Another thing find the leader of those kids or should I say the cool kid, that'll be the one who'll help you the most!
Best wishes!

I recomend "Clean" Radio edits of that top 40 hip hop or you may never get that gig again ;) Worst thing is to be droppin F bombs and any other vulgar bombs and have the school staff freak out on you lol

Sounds like a Top 40 party to me with some classic hip hop radio stuff mixed in. MC Hammer, Vanilla Ice, Young MC, the kids love that stuff.
Report back, let us know how it goes.
Good luck,

In the UK, 10 year olds would be into doing any of the well known 'dance routine' songs, such as Cha Cha Slide, Macarena - anything that has a dance to go along with it, so they can all join in.
Aside from that, agree with what's already been mentioned.
