In musical terms, in normal view you see the 4 beats of a bar (phrase), while the same bar is divided in 16 sections (1/16) in the micro grid.
So in the micro grid you can create more complex patterns, if this is what you need.

Makes good sense......So when I'm seeing the "Micro Grid View" there are just more detailed beat adjustments I can make (4beats beats per, and on the "Regular Grid View" there are more broad adjustments the 4 beats are now 1 block correct?)...Thanks for the help!
.....and are you determining what patterns to use simply by what is sounding good to you?...........

Take a look at some Beatgrid patterns you may create using micro grid or normal.
