The LE version should work fine with Netsearch. just make sure you put your online credentials into the config settings under the internet tab.

i am also thinking of buying the mixtrack(not pro).
i was wondering if i can write scripts in the LE version i get with it.
i want to write script mainly for beat jump (i.e. seek ) and for different play options (like play with sync etc.).
i am also considering gemini ctrl-one.
can't decide which one to buy ?
help !!

haha, yup, i get about a bit...i dont work at the moment so i entertain myself with the forums and my equipment. well, and food...
if you live in india, why are you shipping from america? you could ship from uk or china for less. if you order from china it is very rare you will pay import tax due to parcels being sent as gifts. americans dont seem to have cottoned onto sending gifts yet..
the soundcard you have chosen is fine to use. i suggest these little things for new starters or even pros if your on a budget or want something thats expendable.
if you need any help at all with setting up your soundcard. goto my profile and check out the Headphone Setup and usage guide. everything you need is in that article.

ok, what ive found out so far, is a lot of people seem to be buying products from australia, dubai and abu bahbi instead of the states.
shipping from australia seems to be a lot cheaper than shipping from the states. there are 3 stores ive found in dubai
the first which is an authorised distributor for Numark products, is sonia electronics.
http://www.soniaelectronic.com/
the next is nmk electronics also in dubai. im not sure if they sell numark products, but they should be able to help if sonia cant.
http://nmkelectronics.com/
the third is DJ Corner. also in dubai, these guys seem to hve a great selection of dj gear from both the low and high end of the market.
http://www.djcorner.ae/
i suggest contacting these three stores first before making up your mind. if you decide to import, i suggest mporting from Australia from ebay. ive had a look on the ebay china site and they dont seem to have any mixtracks listed. im not sure if im doing something wrong, but i cant seem to find any on there.
you can also speak to numark and ask about distributers in japan and china. there is a really good chance you will be able to afford the mixtrack pro if you do some more digging.

The thread was originally about using the NetSearch service with the LE edition of the software. And the answer is: Yes, it will work in that particular version.
Let's not hi-jack fattydakid's thread guys.
