Can you give us any idea when it is crashing is it happening at the same point all the time or purely random and post a crash guard if there is one stored also which version of virtual dj are you using.

It's an old plugin created for VirtualDj v2.x and after some new tests with 7.0.4, it seems this plugin is not stable. I will add a note on the effect page.

I have the same thing. Mine keeps crashing ever since I upgraded to pro7. mine usually does it while trying to download something from groove shark. I think there are many new bugs to be fixed. I also experience volume wavering like crazy!

My system seems to crash and/or freeze regularly and randomly. I just got the Denon 6000 which came with VDJ LE. I also tried the 20 free trial of Pro, but freezes there too. It's nothing specific that triggers it every time; once I did a backspin on the left platter and all buttons stopped working; once it was an effect knob that caused it; another time it was caused by me browsing my library (from an external hard drive). I'm very frustrated with the whole thing and sometimes wish it was like it was 10 years ago...just plug in and play, no computers to derail me!

Make sure that you have the latest firmware installed from http://www.denondj.com
Please also see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/DN-MC6000.html
Also, if you are using Windows Vista, you will need to reduce the jogwheel resolution as instructed in the upgrade instructions from Denon - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/MIDI%20controller%20stops%20working%20with%20Windows%20Vista.html for an explanation why. If you are running Vista, we strongly recommend upgrading to Windows 7.

OK. I already did upload the most recent driver info for the 6000 and transferred from my flash drive to DJing comp, but I will check out the other links as well. I'm very close to dumping the PC idea altogether and investing in a MacBookPro. I understand they are tanks and more designed for the "performing arts" world and have few "fails" for lack of better words.
