ok guys i do a lot of karaoke and im wondering is there a plugin or how do i change key for singers.
mostly i never have to change key but now and again you get theese (prof) singers who ask you to change key.

There is a key changer in VDJ sound effects. If you don't see it, download from plug ins.
 
Its built into the skin, peep the picture,

cheers guys.huey when you adjust this knob does it show you anywhere what key it is.
singers often ask for different keys.
a man and his music ive got the plugin but i know nothing about keys lol.it has -1-2-3 0 +1+2+3 are thos symbols for different keys ie what would key g be.
i appriciate the help.wouldnt mind its theese sort of singers who actually cant sing
 
Look under "REMAIN", the KEY is right there.
 
thanke magic.im trying to do all this on a new machine so ive no music/karoake files to load.
 
The Key will show under Time "Remain", just left of "Pitch", when you turn you will see the key change.....
 
I use the plug in because it is simple, but it is limited. The built in changer offers a wider range, but you will need to map for keyboard or controller. You can see the change, just with the track in the player. Ask the client which key they would like, and change it before you play it.
 
hey guys how are you? i am new to vdj forum and i am trying to find how to use the karaoke system. where is it located ? i have vdj pro full . any help would be great thanks guys
 
The eyeball in the right hand corner of the browser, select it, select show karaoke. All you have to do is put a karaoke file in a player, and play.

a man i have spare knobs on my djm 500,,what would the script be say just to add a knob to control key change.

Just type key and twiddle the knob you want to use.
 
you could get something with a piano keyboard like a korg nano or even just stickers for your computer keyboard and map it like

set_key "A#m"
set_key "Bm"
set_key "Cm"
set_key "C#m" etc...

i will look at definitions when i hook up system soon.

Ok so ive lioked for these pluginsthe karaoke one and tge karaoke key one and can't find them. Can someone post the links?
