Hi..I have a problem with netsearch randomly shutting down VDJ with no warning when searching for tracks. The program is otherwise stable. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and knows how to resolve. The version is V7.0.5b running on XP. Thanks for any help.

Do you have an example of searches which makes your software crash? Or a common group of letters

Thanks for the reply. The problem happened at four times during party. Only typing letters into netsearch - did not even hit return button. It happened while typing. I did not use netsearch for the rest of the evening and program was fine. I have had system on test today for two hours with no problems. Have been using netsearch with different searches including the ones I had trouble with - no problem. Was this just coincidence? I did not notice the CPU performance - would this cause problems or a maybe a hardware issue. I am using an external USB sound card for main output and the internal card for head phones. As I say the program just shut down with no warning i.e "music is still playing - do you want to shut down" did not appear. Thank you again for any help.

Update: netsearch seams to be problem. Have tried several searches again and program shut down. Started VDJ and netsearch will not work at all even after reboot.

Hi Cafebass....what OS are you running on your PC? I have the same problem on laptop and main PC - both running XP. No rhyme or reason to the software crash and it can happen after 5 mins or 2 hours. Very frustrating.
