If the drives have the same Drive Letters:
1. First just backup the 2 XML file
2. Open up a XML file with any text editor and copy the entire content (except Header/Footer)
3. Open the 2nd XML and paste the content at the end before </VirtualDJ_Database>.
4. Saved it as a NEW XML FILE
from CMD Prompt:
Copy 1.xml+2.xml NEW.XML
edit NEW.XML
search and delete duplicated HEADER/FOOTER
If drive letters are different
You need the change it to the right drive letter (use search/replace)
whatever you do, make sure you copy XML files first and use those copy the merge. LEave originals alone.
When all done, make sure the NEW.XML is named VirtualDJ Local Database v6.xml and copy that to the root f the drive.

sorry staffy. I predict a fast recovery for you.
If you want, you can e-mail the 2 xml files and let me know the Drive Letter to which you gonna use the NEW database in.
I'll edit it for you. It takes less than 1 min.

For external hard drives (VirtualDJ Local Database v6.xml), the drive letter doesn't matter - It's ignored. Only the full path and file name need to be correct.
For the internal database for songs on the internal drive (My Documents\VirtualDJ\VirtualDJ Database v6.xml), the full path (Drive, path and file name) must correct.
