After testing it for a while, I discover one issue that causes VDJ to crash.

This is when I delete (-) a new line of text that wasn't save.

I will keep in mind to avoid doing this.

I've just updated the camera plugin with a new toy too!

I've got a visualisation plugin in the works for OS X. Works beautifully and blows Sonique out of the water, a few nasty bugs to iron out though.

Just been playing with this, is it possible that you had a message open for editing, deleted it, then clicked OK in the edit window?

This resulted in a crash for me when I did it a certain way then activated the plugin. I've uploaded an updated version (v1.01) that prevents you doing things to the message list whilst editing a message.

I did some tests on the Plugin scrolltext after the crash last night.
occur while changing color parameters, and when I load saved setting
and I noticed that when I save a parameter and I\\\'m going to upload later, the parameters are not set as I had
I have the crash report to be given to you
sent to you as a message

Load an existing message
Add a new line of message by clicking + (plus sign)
Type message... delete this line by clicking - (minus sign)... this is where VDJ crash.

But if you will save this first, and then click - (minus sign) on the newly created line, it will be deleted without crashing.


*Also, I had another crash by simply changing the font style (I forgot which font style I selected). So I just stick with one stable font, "italic arial."*
 
Try the newer version.

Font one is strange, will need exact steps for that. Crash reports are helpful too.

Best to use the scrolltext thread in the plugins section of the forum.

You now see why Mac text plugins have been difficult ;)

I believe that. But the more testing done, the more way to find the bugs.

We'll keep you posted about these.

I need to find that plug-in thread you're talkin' about.
 
 
 
From those crash reports it looks like you are using ScrollText v1.0, not v1.01.

Also have you downloaded the latest ShowLogo update? I've been unable to replicate the issue I'm afraid and no-one else has reported it to me either.
 
Is it possible to use an Iphone (with webcam app) as an external webcam for the camera plug-in?

I tried my logitech webcam and it didn't work.
 
What webcam? I actually tested with a USB Logitech :-)
 
For some reason my logitech webcam doesn't work with the camera plug-in.

Am I missing any steps on this one? (Or sequence of plugging in the the USB cables)

I was assuming it will work as in plug and play but it didn't :(

If it works for you then I should keep trying and find where the missing link is.
 
I made a little research and seems like my old logitech webcam is not mac compatible. I might need to buy a new one.
 
I bought a Logitech HD Webcam C615 now and I finally got the camera plug-in working (using external webcam).

Yes I have all the updated versions.
 
Mac versions of ScrollText and ShowLogo have been updated today - see relevant threads in plugins section for more details.
