Been using the Mixlab 4 skin since it became available, love it.

Looks like I will be making daily visits to this thread now. :-)

Just one question Matt, I use the Smart Play lock on Mixlab 4 extensively. i.e. Shift-Play to toggle switch it on/off. Will you have the same facility in this new Mixlab 5 skin?

From the video I can see the lock on the 4 deck skin, but, not on the 2 deck skin or the video skin.

I use 100% video at all my gigs.

Use dropbox or skydrive and keep active backups of what you do... or at least a thumb drive...

Looking good - Big Fan but was dissapointed that the last incarnation never got finished.

Hopefully this will be finished as It looks so good.

An educated guess would be that he is hanging back til VDJ8 is released to be able to incorporate any new features.

If you remember that's what happened last year when the multiple deck version 7 was released.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
 
Hi new to vdj just looked at ya preview looks the dogs.....like can't wait either yo yo soulman.. whats the crack vdj 8? when is this released? or approx or does anyone else know.... also i'd like to know is there any automatic tags like upload a song that is not tag id'd and when it plays the sample it will automatically type it up like you can do with ya mobile when you record a bit and it comes back to you with the artist and title......... this would be a mint feature if could be or already is incorporated??????

The preview is very well constructed.

I'm rather excited at the prospect of the new release to be commercially known as VDJ8, when will it be available to users, does one know it's anticipated release date.

(not sure on that section, I use phones to receive and call people)

That would be an absolutely splendid feature, (refering to the previous sentence)

still, gotta admit mixlab 4 beta is downright FUN to play with. 5 is gonna blow us away.

and i still say they need to hire Matt to make the official skins! mans got talent.
