Those two items won't accommodate wall worts will they?

Sorry - never seen a plug that here in the US ;) Just realized your application is probably UK specific due to 220v being the common output. We still call the big plugs you find on AC adapters wall warts though ! Normal multi-plugs are not spaced far enough apart so they give us headaches too - just at 110v.

Exactly, thank you for your input.

Am looking forward to what the other have to say.

Not for wall warts but really handy for us UK djs (when they come out)

3 pin folding plug, with adapter for multi plug

Umm interesting.

I just designed and had this PDU manufactured.

As an agent for this company I can have PDU's made to order and can sell individual units directly to the end user.

I am a little disheartened with the lack of response from this topic I would of thought it would of been a real cause of concern as it has been for me.

In any case PM me if you want a bespoke PDU or you want one the same as the above (My Design)

Hi,

Looks interesting, but, in the nicest possible way, what's different about this one that you've designed? Is it just that the plugs are more spaced out?

Pretty impressive that you've bothered to actually design something yourself!

Hi Andy,

Here's some info for you, you must of seen some differences? maybe once you've read this you'll be able to appreciate it.

This unit isn't a power conditioner, it's just a power distribution unit (PDU) this unit is top quality industrial grade (as used on power stations) You can see from the pics that this unit can be fixed to a flightcase or booth securely and features an IEC input for the mains power lead with locking clip, the earth is for when your in a marquee running from a generator, you attached a jump lead to the end of the terminal and the other end to a tent peg, assuming the tent peg is metal :) if your using a domestic multi plug to connect your gear then this is a massive upgrade, there is a special sound system PDU available however it's a lot more expensive and doesn't include a detachable power lead. Remember this is my design, you could design your own PDU if you wanted.

I wanted to bring this knowledge and service to the community as a-posed to just carrying on with my business, you only need to see some of the wiring on the pics pages to know most could benefit.

As with all bespoke item these aren't for cheap skates, I don't expect any NLU's to be investing anytime soon lol.
