I know for a fact the issues is not the hardware. I had the same problem on the RMX, VMS4 and now the Numark NS6. The problem is whenever I try to scratch and pull back it goes silent. I instructed to de-install "all" VDJ versions from my computer and delete the folder VirtualDJ (C:\..\VirtualDJ); Clean your system incl. registry with a tool like the CCleaner; Download and install only the version from your download center. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html. I did that twice and same results. Can any one help

you have "smart scratch" enabled, find it on the skin and disable it
