It's a long story but I will keep it brief. I am doing a "non-dj" gig where there will be 2 speakers (as in people speaking.. not the box that makes sound!) as well as a 4 piece band (the band is basically a guitar, an electric organ and 2 singers). I will also be playing one or two songs as background music. I basically have the set up for cabling etc but I am hoping I might be able to record the event via VDJ.
My theory is to have the band routed through a mixer and coming in on of the inputs on my Denon DN-MC600. The two speakers will be routed into the MC6000 on another input. This leaves one "channel" for the music I need to play.
Does this sound right and does anyone have any suggestions that I should look into?
Also, any hints or tips regarding recording with VDJ Pro (full version)?
