Topic: NS7+VDJ VIDEO MIXING ISSUES

I know there are alot of yal using the NUMARK NS7+VDJ video mixing, me not being a programer to map myself I used DJ ESCO's mapping for the NS7 for Vidz. But everytime I try to drop a quick sample, the platter starts playing when its not suppose to...sorry if doesnt make sense but that is the best way I can describe my problem....any advice??

Well i have not used that mapper. But may I suggest gettin yourself the nsfx. The mapper for that lets you use the Nsfx fader as a video fader and has a auto fade button. Also good for sound effects. My NS7 and NSFX work excellent.

I have thensfx but i never used it because i didnt think it was compatible with VDJ...Do u know where i can get the mapper??
 
They are both supported nativley in VDJ 6.04+, no need for a map.
 
I would say delete that map due to the fact that it would cause me issue too. but there is no need for it as it is natively supported already along with the nsfx. you can customize the vdj map that it creates to your liking by going to the mappers sections of vdj changing it to your liking.

I have been using vdj + ns7 for video mixing for over a year and it has been rock solid. If you have any issues, remove mapper (no need for it) then do a factory reset of vdj in the config menu. You should be good after that as long as your computer specs are good enough. Good luck!

My NS7FX & VDJ be acting up.Going crazy.I really like 2 blend & scratch video.

me too...i use the esco mapping with some personal alterations. make sure u are configured correctly and using a skin for 2 decks
