Topic: How do I setup timecodes to Denon MC6000

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I have the Denon MC6000 with 2 Numark TT200 turntables. I have the serato control vinyl timecodes on the 2 TT200s. I connect them to the MC6000 through the audio and its on phono. Its all connected right because when I turn on the TT200, I can hear the needle playing, through my speakers. But I do not know how to setup the time codes through virtual dj "config". I put the settings to 2 time codes, then when I config the timecode, nothing happens. Ive never done this before. Is it because the TT200 arent USB? Please help.

Using 4 deck skin on Virtual DJ Pro 7.0.4

The MC6000 doesnt support timecodes........
Youd have to use another soundcard that does and set it up in the advanced config screen.

Hope that helps

Ugh really!?!? Well I do have a Numark DJ io external sound card. Can I do anything with that?
Also... Are you saying that if I had another soundcard (2 sound cards), then I can have my 2 TT200s work with the denon mc6000?

Yeah youd just use the 6000 as a MIDI controller and use the DJIO for your timecodes.

Can you please tell me how I would connect this? Step by Step is very much appreciated

Numark DJIO doesn't support timecode either. It's designed for mouse/keyboard or MIDI controller users only and lacks the required inputs for the timecode signal.

You will need a sound card with at least 4 inputs (2 stereo) and 4 outputs such as Hercules DJ Trim.

Alright well that sucks. So then if I were to buy the maya44 usb or the 'trim'. Then I can connect my 2 TT200s to the Maya44. and my Denon MC6000 will also connect to it, then I will be able to use my TT200s with the MC6000???

Basically I want to know what I need to do so that I can use the Denon MC6000 as a controller and have 2 timecode turntables connected to it. So then I have 4 decks basically. Because I have seen it done. (Even though it was with traktor)

Yeah sorry about that. But youd just hook up the Maya to your 6000 as if it were a regular mixer and you should be good to go.

Sorry about the confusion

You can also still use the MC6000 as a MIDI controller while using timecode.

You will just be using the external sound card instead of the one inside the MC6000 for your sound output.

Well which one is better to buy? The Trim or the maya44? I know the trim is $250 and it has a power cord. The maya44 is $100 but just the USB, no power cord. SO will I have problems with that? And I guess the Maya44 doesn't have a phono (analog)...? But my devon mc6000 has the analog/line switch. So which one should I buy and why?

The Trim is gonna be better, it has more options and all around sounds better.

Enjoy
