Nice. My HP would have lit on fire if I attempted video on it.
 
Yeah you definitely need a fast machine - even my quad core didnt have a hope of pulling this off.
 
What type/spec machine r u using? What type of video effects & transitions r u using? Looks great!
 
I have 1080p videos like LMfao " Sexy & You know it, Alexandra stanz Mr saxo beat and tons more and i cant Mix High def videos because the screen blacks out every 10 seconds for just a second and my mac gets slugish. I am using a macbook pro Quad Core 2.2 ghz with 8 gigs of ram and the Radeon 6750 1 gig video card.
 
 
give the guy a break, this is the original thread... hardly anyone uses the correct threads these days anyway. what does it matter, it's not like he is spamming, it is relevant to a wider audiance than the music vid forum as it is a step forward in overall prouction quality, which could be a deciding factor in purchasing vdj over serato now that 1080p is possible, and I don't know about anyone else but I have never seen multiple effect at the same time before, it looks cool...
 
Thanks heaps Synthet1c. This was the original thread and that is exactly what I was thinking but didnt mean to break any rules.

PC is 8 core 2.0 GHz (2.9 on the box but I havent needed to turn on the turbo) with 16Gb RAM and 2 Gb video. To make it work I had to use an extra video utility and am making a tutorial vid for how to make it go (and record) - well I was but now dont think there is enough interest to justify the time to do it.
 
@ Synthet1c. I use serato video Sl with 720p & 1080p H.264 quality videos and i dont get slugish performance and black out. I can play avi, Divx, Flv, Mkv, Gvi, vp6, vfw. I scratch videos in Hd like its a Regular Mp3. I get a 1 second delay when i scratch and then the video picks when i use virtual dj. The video quality looks alittle darker also. I have the settings in Virtual Dj set to 1Ms. The video output screen blacks out every 10 seconds and comes back up right away. How do others have the video output resolution set to ?

What i have. Macbook pro i7

2.2 Ghz Quad Core (Snow Leopard Osx)
8 gigs of ram 1333 mhz DDR3
256 gig Solid State HD
Radeon 6750 1 gig video Card.

Wild is correct. Next time, I will move it to the appropriate place. I understand what you're trying to accomplish but, everything has it's place. No offense intended...

P.S. Notice, even my own mixes end up in the Music Discussion thread....
 
No worries, hey you guys are running the show but this one isnt a dj mix, it is one song demonstrating multiple hi def video effects that I think rival or even outdo the Serato/Mix Emergency combination - at least any demos I have seen up to now. Oh well I thought it was interesting anyway - just move or delete it or whatever.
