So I have a Numark Mixtrack Pro and I'm running Virtual DJ Pro.
I have computer speakers and these headphones that I want to use.
If I'm using speakers that use RCA then I can plug those into my mixer, plug in headphones and it will work properly.
However at home when I have my computer speakers (hooked up to my laptop), I can't seem to use two sound cards.
My settings are
Inputs: None
Outputs: Headphones
Sound card: 2 cards
and then I have the master set to my computer speakers (which is using my computer's built-in sound card) and the headphones set to the MixTrack Pro sound card.
It doesn't seem to be working, is there a way to do this?
Or do I need to get one of the Y cables and plug my computer speakers into the mixer, then just use the mixer sound card?
Thanks :)

2 cards will not work because the headphones of the MixTrack Pro are on channels 3&4. The 2 cards option uses outputs 1&2 of each card. You would need to use advanced config to do this, e.g:
Master | Choose your computer's sound card in the list | Output 1&2
Headphones | Choose the MixTrack's sound card in the list | Outputs 3&4
Or you can use a cable from the MixTrack's master output to the line input of your computer: http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VirtualDJ%20LE%20sound%20through%20computer%20speakers.html - This option means that you also don't need to change your sound config.
