Hi Guys, just looking at purchasing the Numark Mixdeck Quad, does anyone know if its fully midi including the mixer? was also looking at the Gemini 7000 but only the decks are midi not the mixer.

yes it is all midi, however, if you wan't to use the internal eq or a vst eq plugin, you would need an external soundcard, as there is no way to seperate the analog eq and the midi messages.

Will it work ok with virtual pro 7 and can I use it for video mixing ok?
 
yep, you just won't be able to unlink the audio crossfader from the video crossfader
 
Think i might look a the Numark N4, as i need full control when mixing in video mode, thanks
 
id get the Reloop Terminal Mix 4 before the Numark N4. It will be better quality components.
 
Can it be used as a hardware mixer or with timecodes @Synth?? Does look frickin good though, almost mistook it as an NS6, lol!
 
It doesn't look like it unfortunately there are 3 pairs of rca's on the unit, but this has master and booth outs, that leaves only one pair... My dj2 only has 1 line input and 1 mic input that routes to the software I'd say this would be the same. this is straight off the reloop webpage http://www.reloopdj.com/product_info.php/info/735

I wouldn't get your hopes too high though Huey, these are in between reasonable and good quality and not great, but the dj3 and contour are great, so maybe this will get better than the dj2 which all the parts look the same.
 
Hmm after reading about it it doesn\'t seem that bad, plenty of knobs and buttons plus I like the layout.



Gonna have to wait till after NAMM for some videos of it in action, it has peaked my interest....
