So basically I should get an all in one controller?

yes that is correct i highly recommend a all in one controller and i also recommend getting a controller that works with multiple software and try out a few different one's so you are not stuck with one you may not like to much.

I second that. One of the reasons I use Virtual DJ is because of the flexibility i have when it comes to hardware. Other software are more inclined towards their own controllers. With VDJ you can plug almost anything into it and have good compatibility, if the hardware is not natively supported there is a very good chance you can map it and you are ready to go.

I highly recommend you look into something with a 4in/4out soundcard aside from the functionality of the jogs, knobs, buttons, (look) etc.
Look up the specifications on the Hercules RMX and the American Audio VMS2 or VMS4 and use those a reference point. I have both and have been great for me so far, on their own and with turntables, audio and video.

I know I'm asking a lot guys, but could you list ALL the things I need, explain why and how its used? :)

I would say to start off with the mk4 it has a sound card in it so wouldn't have to worry about hookinig to sound nut then with the le version of virtual Dj you can learn the basics and then buy the pro version and then the sky is the limit when you want to upgrade your gear but the hard part is done you already have then software that can handle most of any gear on the market so at least it don't break the bank for now....

MK4 is best way to go I have one and LOVE it. evntually going pro maybe after my RMX purchase
