Topic: MODERATORS ON HERE!

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I know your going to lock this thread "LIKE YOU DO ALL MY THREADS" but dam if someone ask a question you dont have to put up some stuid generic link that opens to a page where you gotta search all day to find the answer. I love this software but the moderators could do better... WAY better.

Yeah I can read them and I can also search through this link http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/18/Wishes_and_new_features.html

that was put up to direct me to another forum to search for something????!!! I know how to search on here I have had VDJ since it was Atomix
Locking a thread is like saying "BAD BAD BAD"
All I did was post a idea THAT PEOPLE RESPONDED TO!!! So obviously it wasn't that crazy. Do forum rules state anything about common courtesy?

If you have an idea for something you would like to see in Virtual DJ, you would post it in the Wishes & New Features forum, because that is the appropriate sub forum. It is where discussion has taken place on these things for a long time, and as a long term user you should already be aware of this.

A quick click into that forum and you see the third thread down is a sticky labelled Browser related wishes and new features. That would be the absolute best place to post it if you ask me.

No-one has asked you to search and I can certainly see that not all your threads are locked so stop exaggerating.

We are not asking for the earth, just that our small set of forum rules are obeyed. The person who locked your post explained the reason why it was locked and what to do. Locking a thread is not bad bad bad as you state. If we simply move your thread there is no redirect and it vanishes from where you posted it. You may then think it has been deleted and kick off. So posting why and what to do then locking is the next best solution.

There is nothing in the rules about common courtesy, only that you should treat all users with respect. However it does say that use of the forums is a privilege, not a right, and that posts may be edited, removed or levelled up at the discretion of the forum moderators.

I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Regards,

Scott
