Topic: Virtual DJ Pro Mapping Loop Button - HELP

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi!

Just upgraded to Virtual DJ Pro 7 after buying a hercules RMX and using the Standard V-DJ software for abit.
The V-DJ LE software that comes with the RMX with the preset buttons allow the 'Loop In' button to reloop or move the loop at the point its pressed during the loop. e.g. shortening the loop to where its pressed to where you last pressed loop out.

However I've been setting up the Buttons on the RMX in Virtual DJ pro and the loop in button doesn't seem to overide the previous loop in to the new point when pressed. It simply restarts the loop at the orignial point it was pressed to loop in. Tihis is using the simple Loop_in command.

Is there a special button command for a loop in that when pressed resets the Loop in at whatever point during the loop you want? so you can shorted the loop yourself rather than looping out ans quickly looping in/out again.

Bascially I want a Loop In button that when pressed starts a loop and when pressed again in the loop sort of re-starts it thus shortening the loop. It might be just a simple variation to the code but...

Any help appreciated!

Thanks.

easiest way would be to read the original mapper in your LE... if the button is set how you want it then the information should be available in your virtualdj folder in your documents. find the original mapper file and copy the syntax.

hope this helps, john.

p.s, if you have upgraded to pro, please register your software here on the forums.

Just had a look at the LE mapper File and copied over this code "loop_in" value="BUTTON1"" value="BUTTON1" Pro 7 doesn't seem to make much sense of it syntax error?
Not sure if its just a default of the LE but I can't understand why Pro wouldn't do it as normal I thought more people would make use of it than the normal Loop_in function which reverts to the start of the loop.

Where can I register my Pro upgrade to the FOrums?

the syntax is "loop_in"

the value, is the button which the syntax is assigned to and does not need o be entered into the mapper, use only:

loop_in

then please register your serial no, thanks.

hope this helps, john.
