Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

hey guys, im having this problem where the highs sound "tingy" its like the tweeter is blown or something but it is in fact not i tried on 2 different sets of speakers. im running a american audio vms 4.1 with a dell vostro 1310 laptop on windows 7, with virtual dj. now when i play a mp3 on my laptop going through the headphone jack it sounds fine going through the speakers. if i use virtual dj it sounds like its blown the highs anyways. ive tried traktor too and still the same problem. i also tried just hooking up my ipod and play music through the vms analog and sounds fine. i dont understand it. is it a setting in the virtual dj program?

I think you've answered your own question there....

If you play the song via the computer soundcard, it's fine. If you play it thru the VMS4.1 analog(ue) it's fine.

If you use DJ software (either VDJ or Traktor) via the VMS4.1 in digital mode it's bad.

So if it's happening with both Traktor and VDJ it can't be VDJ that's to blame. The common thing is the VMS4.1 in digital (USB) mode.

I know for a fact that the previous model (VMS4) was really easy to distort, so maybe your levels are too high.

Try turning down the gains, both in the software and on the VMS.
