I used to use a PC and was able to right-click each CUE i set and rename it...this allowed me to write little notes to myself (reminders, like "loop here"). Can I do this on a MAC? I can't right-click and I can't seem to figure out how to rename the CUEs.

i don't have a mac, but it's probably command + click...

if that doesnt work you can map your keyboard with this and the window will appear

cue_name 1
cue_name 2
etc..

you can also specify a name for the cuepoint in the mapping if it's something you use regularly eg.
cue_name 2 "loop here"
cue_name 3 "mix in"
etc...

not sure what happens if you leave the number out eg.
cue_name
cue_name "something something something darkside"

thanks!
Hopefully someone who has a MAC might also be able to help out...
I haven't tried mapping anything yet, but that could work, although like you say it would have to be very generic names. It was really cool on my PC because I could type whatever I wanted on each specific song as I mixed so I could have those notes for next time... but the PC kept freezing with VDJ :(

you don't have to set the names, as it says regarding the first two scripts... "the window will open" so you can name them whatever you choose...

Why can't you right click?

Place two fingers on the touchpad and then click - this is Apples shortcut for right click on single button devices.

I've just tested it on OS X and the rename cue option is there :)
