I just encountered a problem with the pitch fader on the left deck. I just started doing this. If I move it off the middle it will immediately go to the end of the pitch resolution thing. For example if I move it slightly up it will go all the way to the highest pitch on the fader possible. This happens in vdj while on the vms4 the pitch fader is only slightly above. So if the song is 100 BPM and I move it to 101 on my vms4 it goes to 130 BPM in VDJ. This only happens on the left deck though. The VMS4 is only about a year and half old. Any help?

It appears to be a hardware issue. Try to clean the fader from dust or contact American Audio.

I was hoping you would see my thread, djdad. And hmm how would I clean the fader safely? I'm not much of a handy man. And my warranty expired at the end of last year so do you think they would still do something about it?

Try using switch contact cleaner spray (Servisol) - You should be able to purchase this from DJ or electronic stores.
Disconnect your VMS4 from the mains and your computer and then spray into the slot of the pitch slider. Work the slider up and down a few times then allow it to dry.
If this doesn't help, then the slider itself is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Oh okay. I'll look into it. Thanks a lot. I'll let you know how it goes.
